July 24th - A Tribute to Elizabeth 'Murph' Dailey
Celebrating Hawaii's First Lady of Polo - 53 Years of Shared Passion: Elizabeth Dailey, known to friends and family as 'Murph,' has and continues to be a vital member of Hawaii Polo since its inception over 50 years ago. As a polo player, spouse of Hawaii Polo founder, Fred W. Dailey, mother of former Hawaii Polo General Manager (GM), Mike Dailey, and grandmother of current GM Devon Dailey, Murph has introduced thousands upon thousands of people to polo in Hawaii always extending a welcoming hand and positive spirit whether it be here in Mokuleia or on one of her many trips to polo meccas around the globe. Join us as we roll out the red carpet and salute Murph with a joy-filled celebration commensurate with all that she has given to us and our community.

7/03 5pm - Discord & Rye (clubhouse stage) and Activ8 electro jazz (barefoot beach set): Discord & Rye explore the history and future of original American music. With solid foundations in folk, bluegrass, blues and rock, Discord & Rye has taken roots music off of the porch and into Honolulu’s mainstream anchored by John Ridgeway's vocals, acoustic guitar and songwriting, Caroline Pond's riveting fiddle and Nick Danger's rollicking upright bass. It's honest, feel good music that'll turn your Independence Day Weekend into a foot-stompin', holler-filled hootenanny.
Rockin electro jazz reality. That’s Activ8 electro jazz’s professional biography in its entirety...fittingly leaving Activ8 electro jazz a giant canvas on which to paint. The product of mastermind and main drummer, Jerome James, Activ8 focuses on delivering an immersive experience to spectators via music and dance performances, visual stimulants and direct artist-audience interaction. Raised in one of Hawaii’s great drumming families, James takes Activ8’s music seriously but remains focused on the end goal - engaging and uplifting onlookers. This translates to every Activ8 show being unique, memorable affairs. Count on Activ8 electro jazz's special beach set at Hawaii Polo to be particularly so.
7/10 5pm - Higher Ground: This passion-filled quartet, headed up by Mark Sperling, Roshan Kumar, Paul Davis and Tim Lee, has served as the rock of our island for over 30 years hammering out driving beats ranging from classic rock to blues to country. Put on your dancin' boots and raise a glass, good times a comin'.
7/17 5pm - Custom Made (Hank Williams Sr. Tribute) + Mechanical Bull Rides: This Americana trio is 'Custom Made' for a real good time comprised of national touring musicians who have performed all across our great land and now call Maui home. Featuring Nashville recording artist Charlsey Etheridge on vocals and guitar, West Virginia brethren Justin Morris (BrownChicken BrownCow StringBand and YumYum Beast) on upright bass and dobro and Orion Hitzig (BrownChicken BrownCow StringBand and Hitzig Brothers) on mandolin and fiddle, Custom Made performs old-time music with modern sensibilities including originals and a special Hank Williams Sr. tribute set in honor of Hawaii Polo's 'Paniolo Paina.' Adding to the mix is a mechanical bull ready to buck the vibe straight into the heavens. Grab your hat and holster, and join us as we celebrate paniolo traditions of yesteryear that continue to serve as our foundation today.
7/24 - Jeff Peterson (Grammy Award Winner and Six-Time Na Hoku Hanohano Winner): With two Grammy Awards, six Na Hoku Hanohano Awards and collaborations with superstars ranging from Eric Clapton to Aaron Neville to Boz Scaggs, Jeff Peterson has established himself as one of Hawaii's greatest musicians capable of standing tall all by his lonesome or charging in a myriad of directions flanked by soul singers, blues hounds and even symphonies. Add to that paniolo passion and heritage (Peterson was raised on Haleakala Ranch alongside his father, a certified Maui paniolo) and you have an upcoming performance that we literally can't wait to enjoy.
7/31 5pm - The Strangers: Formed in 1992, The Strangers (Robert Brey, Mike Scherr, Ian Chames, and Otis Schaper) are Hawaii Polo regulars delivering rock beats, both originals and covers, focused on the music rather than flash or ego. The result is a deluge of infectious melodies and uplifting spirit pervading the audience and band members - a perfect way to wrap our July Paniolo Paina.
