Festivities produced by Mark Tarone

YOU’RE INVITED!

We’re throwing back the clock while simultaneously belting out an ear-shattering HURRAH in the here and now. Thirty years ago, bands shared loads of love from midnight until 4am every time the historic house at 3337 Walnut Street opened its doors. The Holmes Brothers, Eddie Kirkland, Smiley and the Magic Teeth and so many more created grooves that electrified and unified. Members of this original community are reuniting, heart set on summoning the joy that lies within all and planting seeds of connection. It’s a party. Soul Power!

RSVP REQUIRED

All cocktail party attendees must be on guest list. Please send confirmation in advance to whoever invited you.

The world’s greatest living soul singer, Lee Fields, and his band step into 3025 Walnut Street and the shoes of the Holmes Brothers and take us to the river.

This is a classic Late Night at Zete party, in spirit and timing, and is open to all.

Why Lee Fields?

Lee is a powerhouse entertainer with a golden voice, and he epitomizes the might and beauty of The Holmes Brothers who anchored Zete Psi’s grandest celebrations every year for over a decade. And just like The Holmes Brothers, Lee grew up in the south before moving to New York City where he polished his talent through years of dedication and work, eventually gaining worldwide acclaim. Lee has another connection to the Holmes Brothers in that he has continued to live in the New York region after finding success. His journey to Philly on 9/30 is a classic Late Night at Zete musical pilgrimage.
