🐎☀️🏖️
We are excited and inspired by the June 9th program at Hawaii Polo Club. For the past 56 years, Hawaii Polo has focused on celebrating sport and community on Oahu, and on June 9th, we have the honor of doing so in exemplary fashion - hosting Team Australia on our polo field and raising funds for KTUH 90.1FM, ‘the only station that loves you.’

Team Australia travels 5,000 miles to Hawaii with a four-person team deeply rooted in the equestrian culture of the land down under - Jock Mackay (4-goaler), Adam Frank Tolhurst (4-goaler), Beau Blundell (2-goaler) and Scott Kennedy-Green. Best illuminating the equine history this group brings is Mackay, a former five-goaler who spent years playing professionally around the world before taking over his family’s famed, 175-year-old thoroughbred operation, ‘Cangon Stud Farm.’ Jock Mackay’s father, Jamie Mackay, captained Australia’s world polo team for years, and Jock’s uncle, Bob Skene, is one of few players ever to earn a 10-goal polo handicap.

KTUH has been a community juggernaut on our island and especially, the North Shore, for over half a century - connecting and engaging residents and listeners through music, interviews, event coverage and more. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, KTUH delivers live radio with each show host free to spin whatever music and discuss any topics he or she chooses. Hawaii Polo is thrilled to give back to this station that has brought so much goodness to us.

Come experience a spectacular afternoon and evening - international culture, exciting sport, world-class music, starlit disco, enriching fare, oceanfront tailgating and more June 9th at Hawaii Polo Club.

🐎☀️🎵💃 WHAT'S HAPPENING 💃🎵☀️🐎

  • International Polo: Team Australia wraps up its visit to the Aloha State by squaring off against the best players in the 808, Oahu’s Team Hawaii. With many pro players on the field, expect fast action and plenty fireworks.

  • Music Fest: we wrap this special Sunday with *four* hours of music 5pm-9pm with the conscious rhythms and words of Paul Izak (over 10 million YouTube views) with his band ‘til 7pm and a Silent Disco under the stars from 7pm-9pm featuring KTUH current and alumnae DJ’s DJ mr.nick (2-hour set), Sejika, Caju, Nocturna and DJ Look (three simultaneous DJ streams - $10 headphone rental required). Silent Disco powered by Hawai Dance Bomb (premium headphones and broadcast gear).

  • KTUH 50th Anniversary Fundraiser & Live Auction: a portion of every ticket sold on June 9th goes to KTUH 90.1FM (https://ktuh.org/), a non-profit radio station that has brought stellar music and community connection to Oahu for 50 years and a cultural lifeline to our North Shore community (one of the only radio stations that broadcasts in our area). In addition, a live auction will be conducted by world-renowned auctioneer (and polo player), Scott Kennedy-Green (New South Wales, Australia), with proceeds benefiting KTUH.

  • Ono, Invigorating Eats: beat the summer heat with an array of all-natural offerings that energize like no other and taste great too: i) Umeke Market powered by chef Mama T serving falafel gyros, chili nachos, naked nachos, mixed green salad and more, ii) Banán Hawaii with dairy-free, banana soft serve available in a variety of flavors and toppings (bananas locally grown & no waste) and iii) The Traveling Foodie (menu TBA).

  • Pampering: Massage, haku lei, hair braids and more by Alexandra & Co.

  • Nature-Inspired Jewelry: beautiful pieces that resonate glorious energy - pendants, earrings, bracelets and more - all inspired by nature and locally-made by Peruvian owner / designer, Ytala Chacon. Preview their jewelry and/or shop online at: www.ayahuascaart.shop.

  • Oceanfront Tailgating: Drive right up to the beach on the makai side of our field and pull out anything and everything you need for a perfect day in paradise. It's tailgating with polo on one side of your vehicle and the beach / Pacific Ocean on the other - tailgate paradise!
