City Winery Nashville welcomes international ukulele virtuoso and songwriter, Taimane, for her Music City debut on Tuesday, October 16th - performing with her trio (Taimane (ukulele and vocals), plus a classical guitarist and percussionist). We are excited about this show! Famed for her dexterous touch, unique sound and passionate performances, Taimane comes to town riding a big wave of momentum. In 2017, Taimane launched herself into the national psyche selling out shows from coast to coast and performing to crowds of over 10,000 alongside Michael Franti and Spearhead at venerable venues the Gorge Amphitheater and Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Earlier this year, Taimane made her debut at the famed Staples Center in Los Angeles electrifying an audience of over 20,000 people. Soon thereafter, the Playing For Change organization released two, live Taimane videos, Pluto – King of the Underworld (Hades)* and The Moon*, that have garnered over 350,000 views.

Taimane journeys to the east coast in support of the release of her new album, ‘Elemental,’ on which Taimane continues her exploration of natural and metaphysical worlds with all songs written by Taimane including one for each element (‘Water,’ ‘Fire,’ ‘Air,’ ‘Earth’ and ‘Ether’).
